The common and its wintery trees

This collection of photos were taken on a chilly November morning while I was out walking the dog.

Trees and the frost

Trees and the frost

This is a view across the common, you can see the frost on the ground and it was very chilly but beautiful.

The copper coloured tree

The copper coloured tree

As always I like all the colours that you see in one photo, the beige grass at ground level then the copper of the one tree, with the green trees behind and then the grey sky.

More colours in the trees

As I walked around the common I was amazed at how within a few steps the colours change.

In the puddle

You can see the tree trunk reflecting in the puddle.

A view across the common

I love this view, each time I stand here the view changes. I would like to take a photo from here each month for a year and see how it changes.

Maybe that is something for me to do for next year on Steam and Country cam!!

The leaves

The leaves

This is a close-up shot of the above tree, I like the way the leaves from a distance look brown in colour but as you can see in this photo some of the leaves are still quite green.
