Liss lanes
I took this collection while walking around the lanes of our village. With spring just around the corner the trees and flowers are starting to come into bud and things are turning green...
Brewells Farm
A pretty thatched cottage in the lanes, we don't have many thatched houses in and around the village but this has just had a new thatch put on.
Down the lane
Looking towards Brewells Farm.
Snowdrops
Some of the many snowdrops on the verge bursting into flower.
Cottages in Liss Forest
St. Saviours Church, Liss Forest
This is the small church in the centre of the village, there are plans to knock this down and replace it with another building. Watch this space...
Crocuses
At last they are flowering, it's been so cold I wasn't sure if they would ever flower this year.
Hillbrow, Liss, Hampshire
This house is reported to have once been home to
Odette Marie Celine Brailly who served in WW2 in the Special Forces of The First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (FANY). There is a long history connected to this lady which can be found on the internet.
