Early morning start for Victoria's journey home

This collection of photos were taken back in mid October when we had an early morning start as we were steaming our traction engine (Victoria) home from The Weald and Downland Museum, Singleton, West Sussex.

It was a beautiful October morning with the mist and frost.

Tree in the mist

Tree in the mist

The whole of the field at 9am was covered in a vale of mist, a beautiful way to start the day.

Just an hour or so later the mist had started to clear.

Blue and green should never be seen?!

That’s the saying about blue and green, but after the misted cleared you can see blue and green are most definitely meant to be seen!

We had an event here with Victoria the weekend before and it rained all weekend but what a difference a week makes. The weather was lovely although a bit chilly.
