A winter walk.

This is one of our many walks over the festive season, on a very cold and frosty morning our walk took us from Liss Forest to Liphook in Hampshire and back.

This is a walk often done by myself and a friend, the walk takes about 3 hours and is about a 7 mile round trip.

Looking sunny

Looking sunny

Looking lovely and sunny and it was, but it was freezing!

Looking across the fields

Looking across the fields

I love this spot; every time I walk by I always say the same thing “I want a house just here”. It’s a beautiful spot in the summer or winter.

Folly Pond

Folly Pond

Looking across in the other direction is the pond called “Folly Pond”.

Chilly Chilly

Chilly Chilly

This photo is also of Folly Pond but I've zoomed in with my camera. You can see the ice on the pond.

Weavers Down

Weavers Down

This is the car park at weavers Down near Liphook, Hampshire.

Although the morning started misty, soon the sun came out and the photo shows how the sun was shinning, with that wonderful blue sky.

Yellow Dog

Yellow Dog

This is Jess, dog dancing on ice, she loves nothing more than smashing through the ice and running off with bits of it in her mouth. Then her friend Jake (see the next photo) will enjoy his freezing cold mud bath.

Black Dog

Black Dog

This is Jake enjoying the muddy water which must have been freezing; luckily for him Jess had already broken the ice up for him to enjoy the mud bath!
