A weekend with our grand old ladies
The weeks photos I took on a busy weekend out with our engine "Victoria" and "Lady" which we give a hand looking after. On the Saturday we took "Victoria" to a local village fete in Rogate about 6 miles away and on the Sunday we took "Lady" to Singleton, West Sussex. A great weekend spent with two wonderful steam engines...
Victoria and her wagon at Rogate
Victoria getting plenty of admirers at the fete. We had a good day but sadly we had heavy showers most of the afternoon. Not that we minded as I cooked hot dogs in the wagon and we had plenty of tea.
Classic cars
They have plenty attend this event, here you can see a good selection of the classic cars.

Victoria heading home
After the busy afternoon we chuffed home and finally the sun came out.
Another day, another engine
The next day and Lady was out to play.
Here we had just hitched her up to my wagon and then off on the 15 miles road trip to Singleton, West Sussex.
Lady, wagon and trailer
This is engine and load just leaving our village.
Entering Liss village centre
On the open road
Here Lady and her load enjoying her journey in the countryside.
Looking lovely....
Not a site you see to often on the road, a showmans engine. She gives a wonderful sight, sounds and smells.
Over the brigde
The next two pictures I can't make up my mind which one I prefer so I have put both on. I have always wanted to get a picture of Victoria coming over this bridge, hopefully I will in a couple of weeks when we will be doing this jounery with her.
Over the bridge, number 2
See, which one do I like the best?
Maybe you could email me with which one you prefer.
