Victoria at the Petersfield Jubilee Celebrations

Over the Jubilee weekend we attend an event in our local town of Petersfield, Hampshire. It's always nice to do a big event in Petersfield as this is the town that Victoria first served in 1886 and is still serving now 126 years later.

We had been asked to come along and lead the procession of people and cars through the town and down onto the large lake called "The Heath".

We had moved Victoria to Petersfield to my parents paddock earlier in the week so we didn't have to get up in the middle of the night to steam from Liss but it was still an early start, 6.30am on the day to make sure we were in the town by 9.30am.

We had a fantastic day; lots of friends and family come along and enjoyed the day with us. Well worth the early morning and late finish!!!

It was a very early start for us and all hands on deck to clean polish and get Victoria looking her best. I took this picture from out of my wagon window, it was about 8am and I was cooking breakfast for all the workers.

We had forget to put the bunting on the wagon so while they were doing that I got them to take a picture from up there. As you can see it's a different view of Victoria...

Down the main High Street in Petersfield many beautiful vintage and classic cars lined the street but at some points it became very tight to get Victoria and the wagon through but we done it without a hitch
