I took this week's collection of photos in early February when we had the few days of snow here in Hampshire. These were taking around our village of Liss.
The last three photos are of some military vehicles but more about those later.
This small bridge takes the main line railway on the Portsmouth to Waterloo line, the bridge only has a clearance of 9 foot so larger vehicles such as tractors and lorries have to make a detour around the other side of the village.
This picture is one of my favourite in this collection, looking across the field to the snow covered barn.
The snow covered banks of the carrot washing pond as it is known locally. It gets it’s name from the fact that years ago the local farmer used to wash their carrots in there before they sold them.
These next three photos were taken while on a trip to the Aldershot Military Museum, a small museum but quite lot to see. They have quite a few vehicles there to look at including the three in the photos. Unfortunately the vehicles were parked in the shade of the buildings and didn’t make for good photos. If you have a spare couple of hours and you’re in the Aldershot area go and take a look.
