Playing on the beach

This weeks photos were taken back at the beginning of August while we were on holiday on the North coast of the Devon/Cornwall.

This was a few miles down the coast from Hartland Quay which we visited on the same day. For photos of this checkout my Hartland Quay page.

Children and dog like to Paddle

Children and dog like to Paddle

We found this small cove on a walk along the coastal path, we had to go down some very steep steps to get on the beach.
Look out to sea

Look out to sea

This was the beautiful view out to sea from the beach... Wonderful
Harry enjoying the force of the sea

Harry enjoying the force of the sea

We had a wonderful time here playing in the sea and the beach was so quite only about 10 or 12 people on it.
Jack enjoying the sea

Took this in black and white for a different feel to a beach photo.
Waves crashing in

Waves crashing in

As we played on the beach the tide was coming in and the sea was getting much rougher.

The next three photos are just ones that I have enjoyed looking at and thought I would share them with you.

The great British seaside

The great British seaside

I think that the great British seaside is here, forget all the shops, arcades/amusements on the sea front, this is what I call a great few hours on the beach.
