Frosty, icy and chilly

This was a walk we went on at Liss Forest common in Hampshire a few days ago while we had the cold snap. Everything was covered in frost all day. These photos were taken mid afternoon.

White trees

This is the path onto the common, it looks as though nobody has walked on this path but the common was covered with walkers, dogs and cyclist.
Looking pretty

Looking pretty

Everything looks pretty, where ever you looked.

Beautiful

I like the way the two trees are standing side by side but they look so different in the frost.

Tired tree

This tree looks like he is cold and tired to me.

Icy Puddle

Icy Puddle

This is one of the big puddles that always has running water coming down it, but today it was frozen much to the disgust of my dog. No running water no puddle to splash in!!

This photo was taking from the top of Tank Hill looking down in to the trees.

Another frozen puddle

This next couple of photos I took in black and white just to see what they came out like.

This one is of what is usually a large puddle, it had frozen over with the large bit of wood sticking up.
